Jake grew up in a small rural town in Vermont with his Mother, Father, and Brother. He attended Loyola University Maryland and graduated with a B.A. in Global Studies: Conflict, Justice, and Human Rights. While living in Baltimore, Maryland, Jake worked for the Center for Community Service and Justice at Loyola University Maryland and later served as Executive Coordinator and Chief of Staff at Evergreen Health Cooperative, a non-profit health insurance cooperative established under the Affordable Care Act.

Jake is an avid photographer, enjoys hiking and spending time with friends and family, and experimenting with baking and cooking.

After graduation, Jake will be pursuing a Leadership Fellowship at ChenMed: Primary Care Medical Centers for Seniors.

Stacey is a current Master’s student studying Health Management at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She studies with and works as a research assistant for Professor William C. Hsiao, who first inspired her curiosity about health system design and reform. She also serves as Vice President of Marketing for Women in Leadership, a Harvard Chan student organization that aims to build a world in which women are empowered to follow their curiosity, with equitable opportunities to pursue and succeed in leadership roles.

Stacey is a listener and loves to learn. She enjoys being challenged by new perspectives and believes that different types of knowledge can be applied in unexpected ways. Stacey is convinced that public health, with its breadth and depth of study, is one of the most effective vehicles with which to tackle many of our world’s most pressing and complex issues. She hopes to continue learning while she contributes to improving health outcomes and equity while decreasing spending.

Stacey is a first-generation American who grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area with an older and younger sister. She attended Rice University in Houston, TX and graduated with a B.A. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. During her time in Houston, Stacey founded and launched Camp Kesem Rice, a non-profit chapter that supports children affected by a parent’s cancer and offers free annual summer camps. She also worked at Children At Risk, a children’s research and advocacy group, and volunteered in leadership positions with Colleges Against Cancer, Pancakes for Parkinson’s, and Omega House HIV/AIDS hospice. Stacey later moved to Los Angeles to serve as the Southwest Regional Program Director for Kesem, where she launched several new chapters and led significant increases in regional fundraising and number of children served.

In her free time, Stacey loves to be outdoors, play piano, binge TV shows, try new recipes, and sleep.
